What is happening out there is the growth of the Jamba brand. Deal with Nestle and Pepsi (to go with previously announced ones) are placing the Jamba brand higher on the food chain. As additional deals come to fruition (we WILL see much more w/Nestle) we will see the rapid expansion of the brand name in our supermarkets, club stores etc. That will expedite the sales process of new franchise locations and support existing ones.
Will it happen overnight? No. But even doubters of the company have to have taken notice of the increased pace of these initiatives recently. The Inventure Foods (SNAK) deal has succeeded beyond the expectation of both Jamba and Inventure. That success has spurred the recent flurry of activity as other companies have tangible proof that Jamba is a brand name that will move product off the shelf.
Why hasn’t the stock price moved on these recent deals? They are all new and putting profits to them is not easily done. The Inventure deal will have its first full quarter of results attached to it when Jamba reports Nov. 9th. Once there is some type of clarity as to the value of these deals, we will see the stock begin to react. Suffice it to say in my opinion I think they value of these deals is going to be huge.
You cannot underestimate the power and value of a brand name in the food business….
