When we are between earnings periods, in order to get a feel for what is going on, we need to look around. In Q4 Jamba CEO James White said the Jamba Energy drinks would roll out end of Q1 to Q2. Since Jamba only had just >700 locations in the US, readers have taken to the streets to look for progress.
The photos below show Jamba is active in NYC (it helps having Nestle as a partner) is active in both print and “boots on the ground” getting the product in front of people. They also said the other licensing deals they had would be rolling out in the same time frame. From the shots below, we can tell they are. Of course there is no way to tell how this correlates to profits now. What it does tell us is that management is continually setting goals and meeting them. That give us a certain confidence as we look at the financial goals that they are setting.
