Staffing employment in May is 6% higher than in the same month last year, according to the ASA Staffing Index.The index for May is 94, up two index points from 92 in April, suggesting that U.S. staffing employment has increased more than 2% over the past month. The ASA Staffing Index is reported nine days after each workweek, making it a virtual real-time measure of staffing employment trends.
