So he has control of an additional 400,000 or so shares now? Can you clarify what this means?
I think I can answer this. Correct me if I’m wrong Todd but it looks as though ESL did not buy these shares on the open market rather they are a result of the “trade/vendor lease” claims as per the initial Kmart BK. In essence, it appears, that ESL now technically controls 66,024,366 shares or about 52.2% of SHLD based on the shares outstanding in the most recent quarterly filing. It is likely a little more than that now because I am sure Eddie has bought back a little more during this recent downturn. Does this explanation make sense Todd?
